The gentle trotting of horse’s hooves sways me out of my
thoughts. The curtain slightly drawn back, allows me to take a
glimpse at the festively decorated Christmas alleys and streets.
Crisp white snow flakes fall gently, dancing in the yellow light
of the street lamps. The steamy, heavy, breathing of the carriage
horses can be heard as they approach our hotel entrance. The spirit
and excitement of Christmas is overwhelming and has captured my
heart!
